Terms of Service
Effective November 7, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Enigma LLC ("we", "us") for your use of NSG (Nursing Study Group) at https://nsg.selbrink.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What NSG is (and isn't)
- NSG is a study aid for nursing students. It provides practice questions, quizzes, study search, an AI tutor, videos and a forum.
- Educational use only. Nothing on the site is medical advice or a substitute for your instructors, textbooks, clinical preceptors, or facility policies. Never use it to make decisions about real patient care.
- AI-generated content can be wrong. Questions, rationales and tutor answers are produced with artificial intelligence from student notes and reference texts. They may contain errors or outdated information. Verify important information with authoritative sources, and flag anything that looks wrong.
- No guarantee of results. Using NSG does not guarantee that you will pass the NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN, or any course or exam. Practice scores do not predict real exam results.
- Not affiliated with NCSBN. NCLEX®, NCLEX-RN® and NCLEX-PN® are registered trademarks of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc., which does not sponsor or endorse this site.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think your account has been misused. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old; if you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
3. Content you upload or post
- You keep ownership of your notes and posts.
- License to us. So the site can work, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process (including with AI services), display and adapt your uploaded notes and posts, and to create practice questions from your notes. Questions created from your notes become part of the shared question bank. You agree that we may keep and continue to use those questions, and your forum posts, even after you delete the note or your account.
- Only upload what you have the right to share. Your own class notes are fine. Don't upload copyrighted textbooks, commercial question banks (such as UWorld, Kaplan or ATI), instructors' materials you aren't permitted to share, or any exam content you agreed to keep confidential.
- No patient information. Never upload or post information that could identify a real patient.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, or post hateful, sexual, or illegal content in the forum or elsewhere on the site;
- post spam, advertising, or misleading information;
- try to access other users' accounts or notes, interfere with the site, overload it, or get around its limits;
- copy or download the question bank in bulk, scrape the site, or resell its content;
- use the site in a way that violates any law or your school's academic integrity rules.
Admins may remove content, hide questions or posts, and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
5. Third-party content
Some questions are adapted from openly licensed textbooks (for example, Open RN, CC BY 4.0) and are credited on each question. Videos are provided by their YouTube channels, and links may lead to other websites. We aren't responsible for third-party content or sites.
6. Fees and future plans
NSG is currently free. We may introduce paid plans or features in the future. If we do, we'll post the prices and any additional terms before you're asked to pay, and you will never be charged without agreeing first. Features available for free today may change.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the site at any time, and we may set limits (such as daily upload or tutor limits). We try to keep the site running smoothly but don't promise it will always be available or error-free.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, exam results, or opportunities, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you upload or post, or your violation of these terms.
11. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, contact support@selbrink.com with a description of the work, where it appears on the site, and your contact information. We'll review it and remove infringing content.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms. Sections 3 (license for shared questions and posts), 8, 9, 10 and 13 continue after your account ends.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above and post a notice for significant changes. Continuing to use the site after changes take effect means you accept them.
